Mom's Breakfast Smoothie |
| Who says you don't have time for a good, nutritious breakfast? Try this smoothie recipe. It's fast and chock-full of nutrients, plus this smoothie recipe is virtually fat-free. It's a perfect drink before or after a work out too. |

Ingredients |

- 1 large ripe banana
- 2 heaping tablespoons wheat germ
- 2 – 3 ounces soft tofu
- 6 heaping tablespoons no fat plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup strawberries (or blueberries, raspberries, pineapple chunks, mixed fruit)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened orange juice
- Tablespoon or measuring spoons
- Blender

Preparation |

Nutritious Strawberry Smoothie |
Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend on high-speed until thoroughly mixed. Pour into glass and serve.

Helpful Hints |

| Using fresh berries works best, but thawed, frozen berries also work well. Avoid canned fruit as these may contain added sugar. You may want to add 2 tablespoons of hemp oil or another healthy oil supplement for added Omega 3's and 6's. |
