Mom's Spicy Nuts |

Ingredients |

- 1 1/2 pounds mixed unsalted nuts (cashews, almonds, Brazil nuts, pecans, hazelnuts, pistachios and peanuts)
- 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 1/2 tablespoons grapeseed or peanut oil
- 4 1/2 tablespoons chili oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoon fleur de sel or coarse salt
- Large roasting pan
- Measuring spoons
- Mixing bowls

Spicy Nuts |
Preheat oven to 350º F. Place nuts in a large bowl and set aside. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oil, chili oil and salt. Pour this mixture over the nuts and mix well to coat evenly with seasoning. Transfer to a large roasting pan and bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until nuts are crispy. It is important to stir the nuts every 5 – 6 minutes to ensure even roasting.
